Quantum biofeedback, explained in plain words.
Guides to sessions, the QUEX ED, training and building a practice, plus a glossary of the words you’ll hear along the way.

The short version
What is quantum biofeedback?
Biofeedback is the practice of listening to how the body responds, and using that feedback to support relaxation. Quantum biofeedback does this with a system like the QUEX ED: you relax while connected through gentle harnesses or by video, the software checks how you respond to thousands of items, and then it runs balancing and relaxation programs chosen for you that day.
We think of it like a tuner for an instrument. When stress builds up, things drift out of tune. A session listens for what has drifted, and sends gentle frequencies to help you settle back. Most people describe it as a long, deep exhale.
It’s a wellness practice. It doesn’t diagnose or treat anything, and it works alongside, never instead of, your care from a licensed provider.

Words you’ll hear along the way.
From your first Experience through Specialist certification.
QUEX ED
The professional quantum biofeedback system made by QX WORLD. It connects to a Windows computer running the OMNIS software.
OMNIS software
The program that runs with the QUEX ED. Practitioners load clients, run the test and choose relaxation and balancing programs in it.
Harnesses
Soft straps worn on the head, wrists and ankles that connect a client to the device during an in-person session.
Calibration
The opening step of every session, when the device and the client establish a connection. Practitioners look for a strong calibration before moving on.
Main matrix
The ranked list the test phase produces, showing which items the client responded to most that day. Practitioners scan it for repeating trends.
Risk profile
A summary that groups test results into broad stress categories, showing the most recent and the most long-standing.
Selye stress scale
A sliding bar based on Hans Selye’s stress model, showing whether the body seems to be in the alarm, adaptation or exhaustion stage of responding to stress.
Rectification
A percentage showing how balanced an item has become after a program runs. The usual goal is 85% or higher.
Schumann wave
A background frequency field set up early in a session, loaded with the client’s top items for the day.
Virtual session
A session run at a distance, with the client at home rather than connected by harnesses. Group sessions can also run virtually.
